My research focused on the interaction between life history strategies, polymorphisms and telomere dynamics. On a practical level my work has involved measuring telomeres using quantitative PCR and assessing the various methods of qPCR data analysis. Thus far I have worked with Australian painted dragons (Ctenophorus pictus) and red-sided garter snakes (Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis) and eastern mosquitofish (Gambusia holbrooki).
